Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process data on this website exclusively in accordance with the applicable law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit our website austranasolutions.com.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

2. Overview

This website is deliberately designed to process as little data as possible:

  • No cookies are set.
  • No analytics, tracking or marketing services are used (e.g. no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel).
  • No third-party content is embedded – no external fonts, no social media plugins, no embedded videos or maps.
  • There is no contact form and no registration. Contact is possible by email only.
  • The language is selected via the page address (e.g. /de) and is not stored in your browser.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external hosting provider. When you access the website, the server automatically processes technically necessary data and temporarily stores it in log files (server log files). This includes in particular:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested page or file
  • Referrer URL (previously visited page), if transmitted
  • Browser and operating system used
  • HTTP status code and amount of data transferred

The purpose of this processing is to technically provide the website and to ensure its security and stability (e.g. defending against attacks, analysing errors). The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not combined with other data sources or analysed for marketing purposes.

Log files are stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated and are then deleted.

The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Data may be transferred to the USA in this context. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email (e.g. at office@austranasolutions.com), we process the data you provide – usually your email address, your name and the content of your message – solely to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. support for one of our apps), and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We store your message for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Beyond that, we retain correspondence only where required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. under Section 132 BAO or Section 212 UGB, generally seven years for business-relevant documents).

Our mailbox is operated by an email hosting provider based in Austria, which stores messages on our behalf as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device (e.g. local storage). A cookie banner is therefore not required.

6. Links to other websites and app stores

This website contains links to external websites (e.g. public authorities or service providers) and may in future also link to the Apple App Store, Google Play or websites of our products. Only when you click such a link will you be redirected to the respective provider's website; from then on, that provider's privacy policy applies. No data is transferred to these providers beforehand.

7. Our apps

This privacy policy applies only to the website austranasolutions.com. Our apps have their own privacy policies, which will be made available upon release of the respective app under Products.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights:

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

9. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.

10. Changes

We will update this privacy policy if the website or the legal framework changes. The version published here applies.
